It is capable of a printing area of 300mm x 380mm on both light and dark garments made of cotton. The DTG brand is well-known around the world as a leader and a true innovator in the garment decorating industry and here at Adrenaline Printing we are one of the world leaders in DTG printing and DTG printing development

The ability to Print crisp, clean, colourful, vibrant images directly to garments, on 100% cotton or cotton/poly blends makes this the most desirable form of printing t-shirts and other apparel in the world today. With this form of digital t-shirt printing you are not restricted to minimum orders and 1 or 2 colour jobs. We offer full colour printing with amazing quality at very affordable rates. This digital printer will accept most kinds of graphic files. No need for colour separations or expensive vector artwork. However for best results, in most cases, large files with transparent backgrounds will produce the best results.

This method is ideal for small-medium (i.e. 1-200) quantity customers compared to full colour screen printing. DTG is perfect for customers needing to get full colour T shirt Prints at a fraction of the cost of Screen Printing. You can test your design by getting 1 printed before going into mass production. Some designs with screen printing you just cannot get the detail or colours you require, as it can only print up to 70-80 dpi and you will require 1 screen per colour which can have a very expensive set up cost, however, with DTG digital printing we can print up to 720 dpi. Digital direct can solve many printing problems.

The DTG Digital viper t-shirt printer uses DTGTEX water based Inks. These are specially formulated for printing on t-shirts and are of very high quality. The finish of the printing process is amazingly vibrant and with the right care, is very wash safe.

Screen Printing T-Shirts

Screen-printing is a process which uses screens with woven mesh that is able to produce and carry a stencil. The first step is to convert your design or drawing to transparent film. This is a positive image of your design that is used to create a stencil on the screen.

The film positive with your design is placed on the screen which has been pre-coated with photo sensitive emulsion. UV light is applied to the screen which reacts with the emulsion and hardens the area around the image. The screen is then washed out with water leaving a negative stencil of the image burned into the screen.
Originally silk was used for screen-printing, because the traditional name is silk screening. Nowadays synthetic threads are used, generally made from polyester.

There are many types of inks used with screen printing, plastisol and water based inks are used most for screen printing inks.
For more than one colour you will need more than one screen. Each colour will need its own screen. To make sure all the colour's line up correctly screen printers use a rotary multi-colour screen printing machine known as a Carousel. Each screen for each colour can cost $80 each so screen printing is good for large quantities but for small to medium runs we recommend DTG printing.

Dye Sublimation

Your design is printed (with the help of a specialised colour printer) in mirror reverse on a type of transfer material. The maximum print size is 290mm X 360mm. The printed material is placed face down on the garment and pressed under high temperature. The dyes from the transfer turn into a gas and embed deeply into the fabric and bond permanently which will never fade or wash out.

Dye Sublimation Transfers are only available for surfaces that are white or light in colour and contain polyester or a high polyester content. Such as Stubby Holders, Mouse pads and hi-visibility work wear. Di sublimation can also be used on specially coated Coffee Mugs, Tiles, Metals and Give a Picture perfect reproduction.
